Payment

• Medical consultants are paid $150 per case review.

• After receiving a physician’s response to a medical consultant report involving deviations from the standard of care, medical consultants may be asked to provide a short supplemental report addressing the physician’s response. The Board will pay another $150 for the supplemental response.

• Medical consultants may also claim one hour CME credit for every hour spent performing a case review.
